The ocean is big and wide. It’s bigger than we can see all at once. But we know that God’s love is bigger than the ocean too. But even if we can’t see the whole thing, we see seashells that have come from the ocean. We see the waves that crash on the sand. We can see parts of it, so we know it still
keeps going and we have learned about it. The same goes for God’s love and His Son. We can see little miracles and read and learn from scriptures so that we can know about Them and how They are always the way for us. God and Jesus are like the big ocean, but they minister to the one little us, whom they love so unconditional, unchanging, uncontainable, unending, and unfailingly. There is nothing they won’t help us with.
This Christmas season take a moment and shout out how God loves you and the things that you know and see and feel of how God loves you. Shout out how grateful you are for Jesus and His gift of light and comfort and strength for you. Find a picture of Jesus and glue it to a piece of paper and on the back of it write your testimony of Jesus. Keep it in your journal or scriptures or better yet share it with someone who needs to learn about Jesus.
