Tonight, we celebrate the night of all nights. The one where angels came to shepherds to announce a small baby wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger that would bring peace and healing to the world. This is the night the Bible shares about God’s divine Son that came into the world in very humble circumstances and lived and taught His gospel of peace and redemption by entreating all to follow Him as he walked the roads of Palestine and healed the sick and changed water to wine and spoke of His Father who sent Him to atone for all of mankind.
His life wasn’t just an example, it is THE WAY we can return to our loving God. His life was more than just a life, it was a testimony that He is the immortal Son of God. He is the great King Immanuel, who stands on the right had of His Father and He conquered death and sin for anyone who wants eternal life with God.
This Christmas season say a quiet prayer for all those people who don’t know about God’s gift of Jesus to the world. Say a prayer of love for them and ask God how you can help them find His love.
Shine bright in your life so that others may see Jesus in you and want to know about Him. Help others to come to know His peace.
